It can take quite awhile, unfortunately.  Right now I think there is a
lull in activity of our committers.  I don't know if it is because of
summertime or what.  But another problem is bugzilla.  I wish there were a
separate place to file new ports.  They get thrown in with everything from
trivial to nasty bugs, some that might not get fixed soon, and it makes it
hard to see how many new ports are waiting.  Does anyone know if we must
use Trac the same way as Bugzilla?  In other words, can we keep new port
submissions separate from regular bugs or at least tagged in some special
way?

I think new ports should get a priority because, among other reasons, when
people put in the effort to make a port they do it for a reason and it is
just a big disappointment if they set out there for awhile as they often
do.  If no one else does first I'll take a look at your ports this weekend
and commit them if I think I'm competent to do them.
