SVN & trac now live

	Evening people! I'm happy to announce that our new SVN based source 
repository and trac based ticket management system are now online and 
operational, which immediately deprecates our cvs sources and bugzilla. 
So please don't try to use those any more, any change there from this 
point forth will most likely be lost.

	Those of you who already have a commit bit to macports should have 
already received instructions for signing up for write access to our 
new repo. If you didn't, please don't hesitate to mail me and/or 
portmgr@ yelling as loud as you can ;-) Apologies for the oversight!

	Those of you who for any reason prefer scm sources over rsync, please 
refer to 
http://trac.macosforge.org/projects/macports/wiki/CommitterDocs for 
instructions on checking out from the svn repo.

	To sync/selfupdate users, feel free to upgrade your installations at 
will again, you will be pulling from our new home and thus will be kept 
up to date going forward.

	To enter new bugs (now called "tickets", the new hotness ;-) browse 
over to http://trac.macosforge.org/projects/macports/ and register an 
account with your preferred mail address. Once you do so you'll see the 
"New Ticket" link that for now is disabled for unregistered users.

	Please excuse us if things seem a bit (or maybe a tad too much ;-) 
rough around the edges and if there's crucial functionality missing 
from our new services, we're still pretty much flowing with this 
transition and still haven't migrated everything over to our new home. 
One thing that will definitely strike you is the rather unfriendly look 
of a stock trac installation, but fear not, is not permanent ;-) We do 
hope to be able give all our website (homepage, trac & others) a 
unified look and nice facelift!

	Do alert us if there's anything crucial we missed, any gross 
oversight, we will work on a timely manner to fix it. Apologies in 
advance in such case!

	I would like to extend our most sincere thanks to Kevin Van Vechten, 
MacOSForge lead & admin, who has been working really hard and nonstop 
these last weeks to lift this new community off the ground, driving us 
and other projects to where we are now. We all owe him a huge debt of 
gratitude! Also to Charlie Allom, our infallible and reliable project 
admin, who worked hard and close to Kevin to coordinate and complete 
much of the work that had to be done, we are indebted to you too!
