I wanted a good laugh and that was just what the doctor ordered.
Very nice of you to be actively grateful.

I found that most unix/linux documentation is very accurate and concise
but rarely geared for the newbs like you and me.

My plan is to keep going with OD and to keep writing.
I am almost ready to document installing Afterstep and Blackbox - Window
Managers. I have already used them and just need to put my experience down
on keyboard. Then it will be onto installing apps like GIMP (image
program) and other stuff. At some point I plan to sort out the whole fink
thing - at the moment it is just fog. I want it to be a follow the dots to
get up and running.

I'm glad you like the document.  I was probably a little bit rough at
points but I couldn't be bothered being to accurate and concise. As far as
PDF is concerned I have never made one and well, it's not somewhere I am
ready to go right now. I have just started building the inspect-a-gadget
website.

I have also started using IRC and have been camping at the #opendarwin
channel. I have never known a Windows person who uses IRC so I might
document that too.
