yep, we see "our" confusion re ver 8.0.1

Hi Folks,
             The Darwin x86 ver 8.0.1 that OpenDarwin is providing 
on it's Servers
is an "image" of the Apple Darwin release. This is the wrong forum 
for problems,
questions and support with this release and Apple's own Apple Darwin Forum is
the correct Forum for us to join. Our profound apologies to all, and again,
thanks to all who earlier offered their help and support.

      We may yet avail ourselves of the actual Open Darwin ver 7.2.1
Release Distro for ppc and x86 now "our" confusion "seems" to be a
little clearer, about who's who and what's what. Thanks, Good Luck
