re: X86Darwin Version 8.0.1 confusion

   Is x86Darwin ver 8.0.1 AppleDarwin ?
      It seems we have some confusion as to which camp this belongs to Open Darwin or Apple Darwin below is the link that Announces it's release :

The above is "not" an Apple Site

Below is the file download link for x86 on the same web site which is not Apple's Developer Web Site:

http://www.opendarwin.org/downloads/8.0.1/darwinx86-801.iso.gz

It seems to be a download straight off OpenDarwin Servers "not" Apple Servers.

For the PPC Version :

http://www.opendarwin.org/downloads/8.0.1/darwinppc-801.cdr.gz

Again this seems to be straight off OpenDarwin Servers !

Not Apples Servers !

Is this OpenDarwin or AppleDarwin could someone clarify the matter. Thanks
