i don't want to fix the kernel, just adjust a parameter. i see
no reason why this is limited to 8.

my project is intended to run mainly on linux, which has no SHMSEG
limit.

please help me if you can. my problem is the incerasing of the limit,
not any customers, sysadmins, software updates or whatever.
