You can deal with this.

Either wait until the download finished, then save the "page" as "raw  
source" or "plain HTML" - whatever your browser offers.  
Alternatively, you can ctrl-click on the link to this "page" and  
choose "download to disk" or the similar sounding item.

That done, rename the file to what you think is right and uncompress  
it. Successful uncompression ensures you got valid data.
