Next OD binary for x86. :]

Hiya folks.

It has been a while for me since I fired up my OpenDarwin install.
Just for fun I reinstalled it and added XFree86 and Blackbox.

My experience with OSS is limited (Microsoft user) but over the last few
years I have ran a few linux distros until Apple went Unix. Since then I
have jumped on the OD wagon. I keep getting off due to other
considerations but other than the Microsoft train kind of intended to sta=
y
here.
As OSS exists on the kindness of strangers I thought it reasonable to
update my doc that helps Windows noobs (people like me) get OD running on
x86 with a Desktop Manager. Originally I figured there were probably
others who were a bit stumped and as I had time to figure things out,
decided to share.

Is updating my doc worth it?
I like to read before I post and there are a few posts on lists that
suggest OpenDarwin is not what I thought it was or what it used to be. Th=

last thread on some lists are quite old. I get the impression that:
Apple is making it hard for you guys to build binaries resulting in:
The OD site/project has lost energy/ability/time for building binaries of
releases, which means:
There probably won't be any more binaries of OD x86.

Some kind of confirm or deny would be great with explanation would be gre=
at.
Apart from helping me figure if I ought pick another OS to learn (I came
here to get off the MS train) it might help me decide if I need to
reassess my opinion of Apple.
