It won't hurt to apply :)

my understanding is there are two betas (from that url): jaguar and bmw.
the first one is 6.2beta plus the new QNX IDE (Eclipse based)
the second one is 6.2beta only.
they may not accept you for jaguar, but they will easily accept you
for bmw. (that's my impression by reading some posts). If you only
care about 6.2beta, bmw is enough. bmw is what I have, in case it can
make you feel more comfortable :)
