Xfree4.2 for QNX 4 linking problem

Hi
  I tried to compile some X-Windows aplications using
the 4.2.0-1 binary release; but some basic library
functions; like XOpenDsiplay(); seems to not be there
in libX11. 
   May be I'm doing something wrong; can someone help
me with this ?
