SCSI on a blade 100 W/IDE

I just purchased a Sun Blade 100 with a 80gig HD running Solaris
v10.00. I want to connect my Sun scsi 12 disk "Store edge disk array"
onto the sun Blade 100. The blade 100 arrived with a scsi card
installed. I connected the drive pack to the scsi card and the system
appears to accept the drive pack. When I go in to SMC to configure the
array I can never find the scsi drive configurations on the blade
system. I also attempted to put 2 tape drives on the end of the scsi
chain then all seems to fail. Can anyone tell me how to resolve this
delima??
