RE: Power supply efficiency on older model Sun equipment (Lewis, Ben (Ben))

I've been pondering this myself, lately.  I only have one piece of
equipment, a Sparcstation2 that I got for free several years ago, and
never really got working.  I've probably sunk $20 on hardware
components to try to make it work, but I still need a few more things
yet.

Being both a computer & culinary geek, it's crossed my mind to gut my
Sparcstation2 'pizza box' and replace it with some small heating
element to turn it into a real world pizza box (or heater, as the case
may be).
