as long as one machine can reach the other on a public IP tcp or udp port 
then OpenVPN will work no matter how much nat translations you have in 
between. You then can chose if the remote machine will be routed by the 
local (local as in your original network) machine with an ip in a 
different network (that you chose in the configuration) or if the remote 
one will be proxed as to appear in the local existing LAN.
