Hi Folks A couple of years ago I scored two Sun external SCSI disk enclosures from a tombola of old equipment at work. I assumed from Dymo labels on the front that they were both 4Gb each so I wasn't doing much with them. I just opened one to see if the drive would fit in my SGI Indy as a second disk (it only has a 2Gb boot disk so 4Gb of extra space is welcome) and it has a 72Gb Maxtor SCSI drive inside! Wow cool, they still go for quite a bit on eBay. Somebody must have swapped drives at some point. I know we had several lab machines where they didn't even bother removing old small internal drives and simply booted them from external drives. I've now got it hooked up to my SunBlade 1000 as an external disk and have moved my home directory to it. Bags of space now and I've added a Samba share for backup from other machines. Ben
