Hi all, Speaking of NetBSD/sparc... I've recently tried to install 5.0 on a SPARC Classic, machine still listed as supported in the 25 April 2009 Install Notes. Experienced strange behaviour (random stalls immediately following the first login) and since I was in a rush, I reverted to 4.0.1 without further testing. Have not posted to the NetBSD/sparc mailing list since I have no further information to provide. Maybe when I have the time I'll be more thorough and determine exactly what works and what doesn't. As to the venerable SPARCstation 20, the following message will be of interest to those with dual processors: http://mail-index.netbsd.org/port-sparc/2009/05/07/msg000286.html SMP would be _broken_ under 5.0, again despite the Install Notes. Thankfully 4.0.1 satisfies my needs presently and functions quite well. Do recall problems on NetBSD/sparc 4.0 however. - Alex
