I've not seen any responses, so I thought I'd offer an opinion...

I guess a lot depends on how much for and what you want to do with
it etc. and what sort of environment you're going to put it into.

They're fairly nice machines however, if I had to pick,
I'd say that the v240 is a better choice of machine in the
longer term, particularly if you can get the dual CPU version.

If you're thinking of co-lo, it's 2u instead of 1u but it does have the
advantage of dual PSU and you have two additional drive bays to play
with for the longer term.
