I checked with an admin pal from a previous gig, where we had a couple 
hundred V-boxen.  His response was the V2xx machines were well made and 
reliable, with adequate but not inspiring performance for the time.  
Echoing Nemo, they mostly had V240s and V440/480s, as these were more 
"future-proof" and space wasn't an issue (until it was, but that's a 
different story).

That said, speaking only for myself, $350 seems like a lot for what 
you'd get. YMMV.
