I am running NetBSD on sun4c SPARCs for 15 years now and it simply and plain Just Works (C) (R) (TM). pkgsrc will give you any additional software you need. If you wane get a blast from the past use SunOS 4.x. > Whats the biggest capacity and fastest type of hard disk I can use with it. The IPX has 8 bit SCSI, Fast SCSI at best. So you will not get more then 10 MB/s as this is the limit of the SCSI interface. You should be able to use any SCSI disk, even "modern" LVD disks. You may require a 68 pin to 50 adapter and this adapter may cause mechanical problems due to the limited space in the IPX. -- \end{Jochen} \ref{http://www.unixag-kl.fh-kl.de/~jkunz/}
