You have at least the choice to manualy move the cursor down before you
start typing and you have the choice to delete irrelevant parts of the

At least I do this editing when I use e.g. the MUA of my Android
smartphone, that suffers from the same idiosyncrasys as Outlook.

Yes, this sounds offending, but it isn't meant that way. You are in the
realm of the UNIX culture, where top posting is a faux pas. I just wane
help you to avoid this mistake, as it may offend other people. It is
just a matter of politeness to adapt to the culture you are interacting
with.
