I recently upgraded a server from Solaris10_u5 to Solaris 10_u10. The upgade
went fine but on reboot /var completely lost its mind. I had to newfs it and
restore. Unfortunately the server from which /var is to be rebuilt is at an
older Solaris10 update level. I have been able to patch and the server has
neen stable since. However, SUNWsolnm is reporting the wrong version level.
Two options here.
1) is there a patch that will convince SUNWsolnm to report the correct
/etc/release value, or
2) can I just copy the /var/sadm/pkg/SUNWsolnm tree from another server that I
know is at Sol10_u10?

suggestions welcome.
