I wasn't able to compile re2c because I don't have the dec c++ compiler and I didn't have a working gcc either. My attempts to build the latest gcc have failed. I ended up digging out an older gcc in setld package so I didn't have to build it. After this older gcc was installed, I was able to build re2c and it passed its own self tests, so I hope it will work once included in other packages (namely php). -- Didier Godefroy mailto:[email protected]
