We added a new HP C8567 tape drive as tape1. It is not performing the
compression on a vdump to the compressed device /dev/ntape/tape1_d1.
The "hwmgr - show scsi" command reflects HP
126: /dev/ntape/tape1 HP C5683A bus-9-targ-1-lun-0
While the text file ddr.dbase has COMPAQ
SCSIDEVICE
#
# Matches C5683A
#
#
Type = tape
Name = "COMPAQ" "C5683A" .......
The utility ddr_config compiles the ddr.dbase.text file to a ddr.db
database.
Haven't tried this before, is it just a matter of editing "COMPAQ" to
"HP" and running the ddr_config command?
