Backing up quota files and tags directories

I'm running on a Tru64 platform, with ADVFS.

My Backup Application for some reason doesn't backup the following:
quota.user
quota.group
.tags directory.

I've ran "repquota" on my system and get nothing returned, so I'm assuming =
quotas are not being used.
Is it critical to backup these items...do they get dynamically built, etc.?
