FROM: STOCKTON CACTUS AND SUCCULENT SOCIETY

RE: S.C.S.S. 30th ANNUAL SHOW AND SALE, JUNE 1ST AND
2ND AT THE SHERWOOD MALL

The Stockton Cactus and Succulent Society will be
holding its 30th Annual Show and Sale on Saturday and
Sunday, June 1ST and 2ND, 2002, at the Sherwood Mall
in Stockton, California. The mall opens to the general
public at 10:00 AM both days and the show, which is
free, is held in the central courtyard. Past shows
have had a wonderful selection of large, specimen
sized plants of both cactus and succulents. It is
anticipated that four venders will be bringing a wide
range of plants available for sale to the public.

The Stockton Cactus and Succulent Society, which was
founded in February of 1972 as a non-profit
educational organization, has been active in Stockton
and the surrounding area for 30 years. Members come
from all walks of life, sharing a love for these
unique and wonderful plants. From the beginner to the
expert, everyone is welcome to become a member and
participate in the monthly meetings. General Meetings
are currently being held at UJ’s Restaurant, 7628 N.
Pacific Avenue, Stockton, on the fourth Thursday of
every month (except November). Meetings start at 7:30
pm and besides the evenings speaker, a mini-show is
held, highlighting a particular group of cactus and
succulents, as well as plants in flower and
allied-interests (dish gardens and planters). A plant
raffle, usually provided by the speaker, is held at
the end of the evening.

Please join us for this outstanding plant show at the
Sherwood Mall in Stockton on June 1st and 2nd, 2002.
