As part of my orientation as the new landscape designer, I was making the rounds of the various wholesale plant nurseries who supply my landscape company with plants. None of these nurseries used botanical names by the way. At one such nursery I came upon a rather attractive mid-sized agave that they call "Shark Skin Agave". Where do these names come from? Do a couple of nurserymen sit around a six pack and come up with these names? Anyway, any of you heard of this common name? I did take some photos of this agave but since I am basically a 20th Century man, I haven't had my film developed yet. But, if it comes down to needing a photo I'll have one or two. Thanks, Breck in Tucson, City of the Academically Challenged... _________________________________________________________________ Join the worlds largest e-mail service with MSN Hotmail. http://www.hotmail.com ------------------------ Yahoo!
