Dear Peyton, Do you say the same after comparing more pictures of the two from Maarten's photo files? http://public.fotki.com/maarten/2_cultivars/cultivars/edward_hummel-0.html http://public.fotki.com/maarten/2_cultivars/cultivars/edward_hummel-1.html http://public.fotki.com/maarten/a/attenuata_red_margin/ Could you at least allow that both appear to have Agave attenuata in their parentage and both have dark leaf margins? Could the differences be from age and the way the plants are grown? It has been said that Agave attenuata 'Red Edge' is actually a hybrid between that species and A.shawii. Could it be a Hummel hybrid too?
