Sometimes I picture collectors homes in northern climates whose windows in the winter, like mine, are all filled with sansevierias at the windows so less than 1/2 the normal light is left to light the rooms in a now dark house. I can picture water spots on floors and rugs, and hopes and eyes looking upward to speed-up winter. I can see growing lists of, "must haves!" by plotting hobbyists. " Should I, or shouldn't I" questions worry the collector about whether to water or not. The realization that our plants ARE bigger than they looked outside in the summer and they all look so crowded now on the table, is undeniable. Ha! This is what it is to be hopelessly addicted to Sansevierias. ----- Original Message -----From: [email protected]: [email protected]: Sat, 01 Feb 2014 04:54:56 -0000 (UTC)Subject: Re: [Sansevierias] RE: comments on Olga's Sansevieria pictures A great idea to take the overflow to the office ) But I'm not ready to part with any of them so far ) And not ALL of my sans in the album yet )) I still have some space left for the new sans. I suppose the problems will appear when my sans grow bigger) My husband also laughs at me sometimes - in his opinion all sansevierias are alike. Sometimes he gets angry - when I spend too much on my hobby ) But you are right: Sansevierias have found me here and now I can't help looking for new ones.
