However, the picture of Peter Heyens plant (with a typical cylindrica offset) embedded in your message shows a plant that differs VERY MUCH from what is usually offered under the name 'Boncel' (aka 'bocelensis' or 'bonceilensis') in terms of both coloring AND leaf shape. The latter matches rather a small cylindrica 'Skyline' plant or something very close to it. IMHO the maternal plant in the picture shows signs of fooling with growth retardants. I would have never taken it for 'Boncel', not even for the dark form of the latter that was introduced most recently and was claimed by the author/grower to remain stable for three generations.
