I would also contact re-enactor groups (remember williamsburg?, plymouth
village?)

so, in addition to the eco-freaks, cycling geeks, devoutly religious,
vacationers, gamblers, highschool students, politicians,
convicts, anti-terrorists, academics
computer nerds, we can have the civil war re-enactors, (and those of other
wars), and the midieval, renaissance, shakespearian types.

also!

Don't forget the dungeons and dragons crowd and their relatives, the
otherkin (unicorns don't drive!), there's also something called the luxian
knights but must have them spelled wrong- see meetup.com if you're short
on ideas.

forward-thinking and city-loving than tom and sally homeowner

general rule:
anyone who's not entrenched mainstream (to the extent those two can still
be said together)

maybe the crypts and/or the bloods would like an early in on some new
(car-free) territory

then maybe you could get some police association endorsements (they won't
have cars, but how much of the crime they deal with is vehicle related?
how many of their casualties?)

and while not necessarily related-
have you seen the spiffed up lowrider bicycles (a parallel of the
souped-up car freaks)?


Maybe we could have an institute devoted to helping car-freaks transition
to becoming bike freaks in preparation for 2100.
