Clear the freeways, clear the air, stop oppression of the communities along the 710 corridor along the Los Angeles River" use our easy form to send a letter to CalTrans requesting that they include the GRID project in the California Freight Mobility Plan:

I’ve been working with GRID at no pay for over three years now because I see it as the last, best chance to make planned expansions of the already-deadly 710 freeway unnecessary.
If you want to know more about the background of public health impacts and environmental devastation that make GRID necessary, see the comprehensive four-part article with video that I produced with a grant form eByline.com a few months ago here:

Links to more information about GRID itself and CalTrans' call for comments are on the page holding GRID’s comments form:

GRID is a portfolio company of the Los Angeles Cleantech Incubator:

GRID is a real, on-the-ground effort to build a new way to move freight without trucks on roads, and it includes its own underground electric rail component! It could well be the first step to an eventual car-free Los Angeles.
Regards,
Rick
