RE: TCFC 2008

Hi again,

It is great we have another application in.

I agree with Randy about focusing on content, not just location.

I think it could be really helpful for the decision-making process if we
have as much as context as possible (i.e. what came before, the previous
TCFCs).

Of course the main WCN conference page is at
<http://www.worldcarfree.net/conference>

...and dont miss this: <http://carfreebogota.blogspot.com>

BUT it would be useful to also be able to see:

* Conference evaluations (the only one currently online is for TCFC V in
Budapest, but it is only on the WCN members-only site)

* Articles about the conference from Carbusters (and perhaps elsewhere),
especially from Bogota. The latest Carbusters covering Bogota has not yet
been mailed out, so would it be possible to post the relevant stories
online? Many of the articles about previous TCFCs are at
www.carbusters.org (e.g.
<http://www.carbusters.org/magazine/index.php?issue=25&go=feature5>) but
maybe it would be good to have all the relevant urls in one place, even
just a message on the list, if not the website).

Also, if possible both proposals should also be uploaded to the WCN website.

Finally, if the Steering Committee is using some kind of evaluation form
(with points given for different things, etc) it would be great to see
it...
