Why the conference should be held in your city? Spread information about the benefits of human mobility. Actually the Elected Major C. Lic Jorge Lozano proposed bicycle path network in the city and parking areas, but groups with decision opposed to it. Mr Lozano begins his administration next January 1º 2007. It is urgent to create bike infrastructure to the thousands of urban cyclist in the city and dimish the vial accident, SLP has the No 1º statistics in fatal cyclist accident of Mexico per 100,000 inhabitants. The State Administration of Governator C. CP Marcelo de los Santos are working to get the declaration of the City Down Town -Historic Centre- as World Heritage UNESCO. Downtown has beautiful gardens and plazas, also large pedestrian areas. In contrast the new growing areas has dedicated to auto infrastructure.
