In Brazil, the federal government announced a R$ 4 billion (around U$ 2
billion) to car makers. The Sao Paulo state government anounced another
R$ 4 billion support.

Note: since mid-2007, the automakers are breaking all the historical
records in Brazil concerning production and car-selling.

As a joke, this R$ 8 billion can be considered here as a prize for the
excelent performance of the industry.
