The story would ideally continue with a massive contraction of the 
entire private car industry, i.e. the end of their entitlement... and as 
much re-tooling for bicycles and public transport vehicles which an 
intensive densification of urban areas would require. Existing cars 
would be in more than enough supply for both carshare limited to the 
medium-term in cities and for rural use.
