Hi Max.

We have a discussion about tele-conferencing every year, but it seems that robust, affordable technology simply isn't available yet. Perhaps the Portland guys can chip in with their experiences?

We are looking at ways of considering and voting on certain topics in e-forum working groups *before* the AGM, freeing time at the AGM for informed discussion and voting if appropriate.

Simon.

Simon,

when you say "no face-to-face event (a 'virtual/electronic AGM'
only)", I hope you are not excluding the possibility to have the AGM
webcasted. This would allow people around the world, not able to reach
physically the AGM, to follow the AGM discussions (even passively,
i.e. with no possibility to provide direct feedback). Does this sound
interesting or even possible?

Max
