WCN Logo Redesign Contest

Hi all,
 
last bulletin asked for a new design of the WCN-logo. Honestly, I personally never liked the design of our WCN-logo that much, but I can live with the existing one. 

And yes, if there is a redesign, the change should be decided only by AGM, as there is no time pressure.
 
But how important is a change ? - because it creates work for all us member orgs to update it on websites and maybe elsewhere.
 
Have there been misunderstandings or wrong interpretations with the existing logo ? Did something go wrong with it ? I`ve never heard sth like that.

Or is the intention of this redesign another one than only "we love it but now it`s time for a change" ?
I guess so, and if I`m right, let`s discuss these other intentions, but not the logo itself.

So I would not vote against a new one, but I please you not to change it.

You are probably familiar with the little green man, our logo, if not see http://www.worldcarfree.net/. Although we love him, we feel it's now time gave the WCN logo a makeover. And we'd like your help doing this!
