Reminder: Early Registration Deadline for Towards Carfree Cities IX York - 31 January

Dear all

The organising for Towards Carfree Cities IX is in full swing and
we'll have a draft programme online this week. In the meantime, lots
of other information can be found on the conference website:

We're very much looking forward to seeing you in York and to hosting
what we know will be a very productive and enjoyable event.

We have two keynote speakers confirmed to date: J.H. Crawford (author
of Carfree Cities and the Carfree Design Manual) and John Whitelegg
(the UK's foremost green transport academic, and editor of World
Transport Policy & Practice).

We just wanted to remind you that the early registration period ends
on 31 January. Afterwards the registration fees rise by about 30
percent.

Our 'Call for Programme Proposals' has been extended to 31 January as
well. So please see the website and submit your ideas for
presentations, workshops, excursions or other conference activities -
by the end of the month.
