Towards Carfree Cities IX - York 2010: Discount rail fares, scholarships and more

For those coming to York for our conference at the end of June, this
discount rail fare has just been advertised:

We're pleased to announce that we're now able to offer a limited number of
partial scholarships for people who are interested and motivated to attend
but could not otherwise afford to. If you fit this description, please write
to [email protected] and explain your interest and background in the
subject and your need for financial support. Please write as soon as
possible, as only a limited number of scholarships are available and
decisions will be made on a case-by-case basis in the order in which they're
received.

We also are arranging free home stay accommodation with local York
residents. Home stay requests (or hosting offers, if you're from York) can

The conference dates, again, are 28 June to 1 July, with the annual meeting
