Its the protesters fault that their members sustained further injury and damage. They should have copied the video of the shooting and sent it to a few news stations immediately. That's why the cops raided the HQ, they were looking to see what evidence existed of the murder........and also if they could shore up a hugely embarrassed Bush Blair and Beliscoi. If no video emerged the murders would have walked, and they probably will anyway............a few months an a smack on the wrist followed by reinstatement and promotion. These are dark days in which we live and its only beginning The English Propaganda machine was hard at work trying to minimise the damage from the outset. The protesters were rioters and the poor police were only trying to protect property. First reports claimed the protester was hit by a rock and accidentally knocked down by a jeep. These propagandists are amateurish. Tony came out with his tired old " of course there are problems in the world, and of course blah blah blah, but we can only resolve them by dialogue bullshit. This is just a continuation of the issues raised over Vietnam, Cambodia, South Africa, Nicaragua, Guatemala, ect ect ect. Next they will declare a war on dissent..............where is the promotion of " People Power" which was all the rage in the mid 90`s. Rolling out " The Mouth" Geldof and the gobshite Bono is a waste of time and air, instead face up to what has to be done and expect more death and destruction. GW`n Daddy wont give up without a fight. Beleisconi probably assured the delegates that his zero tolerance thugs could control the protesters....and that everything was under control. Maybe he should have rolled out the Pope in his mobile to try to control things. Well done to the protesters in all forms and methods they used. In the absence of strong leaders to defend the rights of citizens,.............. violent protest is a legitimate tool as a catalyst for change. Mankind has always needed to bleed a little before the more malignant aspects of society can be controlled,........in this case the Big Three B`s. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Kendall Clark" <kendall-4GNy1lrxftmrG/[email protected]> To: <bonobos-4GNy1lrxftmrG/[email protected]> Cc: "jane craig" <[email protected]> Sent: Monday, July 23, 2001 6:22 PM Subject: Re: [Bonobos] Re: genoa protests > >>>>> "bijan" == Bijan Parsia <bparsia-vEoVa6Jh+/J4piUD7e9S/[email protected]> writes: > > > >> >>>>> "jane" == jane craig <[email protected]> writes: > >> > jane> hey, rocket scientist, that dead protester was about to throw > jane> a fire extinguisher at that carabinieri jeep (not a > jane> particularly "heavy" vehicle). > >> > >> Which doesn't justify shooting him. *Twice*. *In the head*. > > bijan> I've heard that one of the head injuries was from a stone. > >
