Hey, I'm running a website on which some of my classmates can d/l documents, and serving it off of the apache server built in to Macintosh OS X. I'm getting a lot of access hits from what seem to be Code Red or NIMDA worms. This is not too much of a problem because they are few, and the OS is a UNIX, but I would like to set up some scripts or something to run to systematically block the originating IPs (hosts.deny?) and turn the worm around and notify the source computer (or at least the transfer computer) that it is infected. Or just make a log of IPs to send to the FBI or something. ;-) Anyone got any ideas or links? Ideally it should be an easy "put this script here, create this file" type of deal. Thanks! Mike
