What's made up about the fact that Bush uses a derogatory term and refused

Never had the white house. If you look at our archives you'll see that I,
at least, was a strong Nader supporter and an equally strong Gore
Critique.

Whoops. I get it. Only a "democrat/liberal" Gore supporter could
*possibly* critque Bush! Wow, I'm *glad* you don't generalize or
stereotype :)

??? Before trying analysis, it might help to gather the facts.

Well, that doesn't preclude him from being an offensive stumbletongue,
yes? I mean, presumably he doesn't have to be racist to have uttered a
racist slur. The clear course in such circumstances is to apologize, yes?

Is it fair to even say that Bush's errors are worrisome
diplomatically? Perhaps Bush can pull it all off by being so
systematically verbally/socially inept. Perhaps he can get away with these
things. But it certainly seems better if he *didn't* blunder, and if he
simply apologized when he does. What's the *shame* in apologizing for an
honest mistake?

Er...ok. Thanks for the advice. Per your suggestion above, I *won't*
generalize and assume that your views are atypical, and thus a reason to
stay the course :)
