What if he had said the n-word instead? Would that have been much ado
about nothing? What about if he'd said "bitch" or "kike"? How about
then?

As for whether anyone is listening, I don't see how that matters at
all. Plus, you don't really know whether it's true, you just hope no
one is.

Here's a test for you, Jay. The next time you're trying to sell a
RE/MAX home up in Kenosah or Walworth counties to a person of
Pakistani or any South Asian descent, try calling them a "paki" and
see if *they* are listening.
