ernet. I have a thing on the web browser that can unblock foreign televisio=
n programmes on the Net that would normally not be available here. I don=E2=
=80=99t think it=E2=80=99s illegal, but I won=E2=80=99t go into the details=
. Suffice it to say that PBS first asked me on their website if I=E2=80=99m=
a viewer of Channel 8 or something in Phoenix, Arizona to which I blithely=
replied =E2=80=9CYes=E2=80=9D.=20
I may have been influenced by your F review, but I found the film to be sho=
rt on analysis, historical, social and sociological perspective and context=
ualization and - judging from your comments and what I=E2=80=99ve read from=
you and others - pertinent historical facts. Stress on the biographical as=
pects of the leader, without considering biography as pars pro toto.
I got the impression of a kinf of whitewashing job; the worst crime seemed =
to be the skimming of funds and betraying the membership. A narrative with =
a tone of cool detachment that avoided much of the violent side of things. =
As such, it was interesting to someone from outside that world, and your co=
untry, but definitely underwhelming.
