I think this is a very ominous development.
Things get more difficult all the time to get correct information out. Whil=
e we can reply on people's own experience to strip out lies about about the=
ir daily life ("there is no inflation") - it is much more difficult to repl=
y on that lived experience for things such as foreign news.

A united single or at least a few (rather than the hundreds it seems) unite=
d left papers/newstreams/media would at least help to counter.
When it is so easy to web-publish and stream, the plethora becomes potentia=
lly confusing to many - including myself.
No easy solution. Just saying=E2=80=A6 a principled unity is taking a long =
time to develop.
