Political debate - theory - is one thing. It is useless without experience. Grabbing someone by the collar to make political points is less fruitful than finding ways to engage them in action IMHO.

One experience to consider is the Stop the Siege campaign of the DSA IC Cuba Solidarity WG. Get your chapter to endorse that (https://web.archive.org/web/20260516142444/https://international.dsausa.org/cuba-solidarity/stop-the-siege/ ). More immediate is the Cuba caravan that originates in Seattle and will be traveling down the Interstate 5 corridor (https://nnoc.org/medical-aid-caravan/).

Why not get the Oakland DSA to support this?

Mark
