thats the value you get in return to give away free software

or share your nude pictures in the web

or write articles in blogs

atentional power means a lot of things: advertisment, popularity,
recognition, etc


another kind of exchange

another type of scarcity, in a supermarket all products must convince people
to buy in 2 seconds,

in internet you must convince people to look up you, or use your soft, or
join your project, in few seconds also

we compete for attention time, its the scarce resource of the
net/information society.
