How Fannie and Freddie Mae weren't reigned in -- and the results

I had heard that the Dems were responsible for this (and benefitted from
it). Here's some substantiation from the main stream press. AND, of
course, it was all done in the name of "the good of the people", just
like it always is (and if you oppose it, you're "uncaring"). A hint of
the kind of things you could expect more of under an Obama
administration + a Democratic congress . . .
