government’s outrage at the Nobel Peace Prize commission’s decision to award 
this year’s prize to Liu Xiaobo, a Chinese dissident who is currently in prison. 
Norway responded that its government doesn’t get to decide who wins the prize.
Memo to China's Ambassador to Norway: this award has already been completely 
debased and discredited by its having been awarded to such consummate warmongers 
like Kissinger and Obama.
That having been said, with the rapidly growing rise of a Chinese middle class, 
the Chinese government can well expect that there will be many more people who 
have differing views of how problems need to be resolved, and will be vocal in 
those opinions.

Salutin suggested the prime minister was a Straussian. If you are a prime

Pakistan decides to reopen major supply route for NATO forces

Pass border into Afghanistan for NATO supply convoys.

NATO Commander: New Europe Threat Justifies Afghan War

the largely nebulous terror threat against Europe, insisting it justifies the

What this war is and has always been about is potential private profit from a 
publicly funded war. The spoils were to have been from the installation of 
pipelines with which to control Eurasian oil, drug profits, defense contractors'

Nearly 10 years on, the profits being seen from this war have primarily gone to 
the defense contractors and drug dealers.

The cost of war in Afghanistan from 2001 to present is over three hundred 
fifty-three billion (with a B), and escalating rapidly.
The war has been of absolutely no benefit to the American people in terms of 
enhancing the security of this country, nor has it created any degree of 
stabilization in Afghanistan; in fact, it has done just the opposite.
People in Afghanistan and beyond don't "hate us because we are free": they hate 
us because, on a daily basis, they are seeing their wives, kids, friends, and 
loved ones being exterminated or maimed for life who are not in any way 
insurgents.

But what this approach has done (as it inevitably would) has been to push those 
left standing into the waiting embrace of the insurgents.
There is one classical definition of insanity, and that is repeating the same 
thing, again and again, and expecting a different outcome.
It appears that the White House, State Department, and Pentagon are in absolute 
lock step in doing this in their policies toward Afghanistan. They are locked in 
a militarily unwinnable situation, but don't know what to do, except to keep 
doing what has not worked for almost a decade.
Of course, for the DOD and Pentagon, perpetual war guarantees one thing: 
perpetual funding.
What this country needs is a Department of Peace, which would be tasked as to 
how to achieve geopolitical outcomes without resorting to war.

James Cromitie, David Williams, Onta Williams and Laguerre Payen are on trial in 
federal court in Manhattan on charges of attempting to use weapons of mass 
destruction, conspiracy and other crimes. They are accused of engaging in a plot 
to detonate bombs outside a synagogue in the Riverdale section of the Bronx and 
to shoot down military planes with missiles last year.
They have denied wrongdoing and their lawyers have argued they were entrapped by 
a government informant.
Mark B. Gombiner, a lawyer for Onta Williams, said he was upset the document was 
in the jurors' notebooks because it was basically "a confession."
"I would like to say something about it," Mr. Gombiner said. "I don't know what 
to say, I'm a little discombobulated."
Looks like someone got caught trying to tamper with the jury to secure a 
conviction. Or alternatively, rather than risk an embarrassing acquittal, 
someone decided to force a mistrial.

as Israeli troops, were injured during the clashes.

It was at that point that Israel blockaded Gaza, not because of security but in

When the seizure by FATAH failed, and the people of Gaza refused to surrender

called Operation CAST LEAD, also denounced by the United Nations as a brutal 
violation of International Law.
In other words, when you ignore the bought-and-paid for propaganda in the US

West Berlin, done in order to starve the people of West Berlin into surrendering 
their elected government and accepting Soviet proxy rule through East Germany.

and mounted the Berlin Airlift. The blockade then failed.
Today, what the bought-and-paid for media is trying to sell you is that what the 
USSR could not be allowed to do to West Berlin Israel must be allowed to do to 
Gaza; starve the people of Gaza into surrendering their elected government and 
accepting Israeli proxy rule through FATAH. The US aids this policy of conquest 
by starvation. In other words, we as a nation are guilty of the same crimes the 
USSR committed against West Berlin in 1948.

torturing confessions out of people was proof of guilt, it is clear that you 
want to believe the US are the good guys without actually having to work to

Latest USDA report stuns grain futures markets

The latest news release from the U.S. Department of Agriculture is the 
equivalent of a blockbuster record to commodity futures brokers and traders - 
and it's corn, wheat and soybean futures that are soaring up the charts.
In essence, the USDA said that U.S. cornfields will generate yields far smaller 
than either analysts or the USDA's own researchers had projected. Last month, 
the department was calling for a record crop with yields of 162.5 bushels per

Bush-dominated appeals court suppresses Gitmo evidence

A Guantanamo Bay detainee who says he was waterboarded lost a legal battle 
Friday when a federal appeals court ruled that the Obama administration can keep 
information secret that the prisoner wanted to make public.
In a 3-0 decision, the appeals court said U.S. District Judge Ellen Segal 
Huvelle had failed to give substantial deference "to the government's assessment 
of its foreign relations and national security interests" if certain information 
were to be revealed. Huvelle had declared that "I don't understand how" 
revealing the information "will interfere in anything."
The point of this is not that the court is "Bush appointed": the point of this 
is that the cancer which is the paranoic "state above all, and the truth be 
damned" mentality evident here will metastasize and infect every aspect of 
American jurisprudence, which is frightening.
One can sense that American law is rapidly devolving into a "Code Napoleon" 
system where a person is presumed guilty until proven innocent, an absolutely 
evil inversion from the current legal norms in this country.

Another video of the "China UFO" which suggests that the current media obsession 
with UFOs is a repeat of the tactic in which space aliens are waved about to 
obfuscate evidence of top-secret aircraft/spacecraft development. Again this 
video suggest a hypersonic wave rider type craft, with indications of stage 
separation. At one point the exhaust changes from a parabolic shape to a true 
cone, which tells us the object has climbed above the atmosphere. The Aurora 
concept being tested in the US back in the late 1980s and early 1990s pre-dates 
the Scaled Composites design for Spaceship one, in which a large carrier craft 
takes a smaller ship up to altitude, then deploys it for a high speed high 
altitude exo-atmospheric run. This looks like what we are seeing here.
If China or Russia have succeeded where the US failed, then WW3 is already over 
and we did not win it.
Alternatively, we may be seeing what was built with that $3 trillion that went 
missing from the Pentagon budget in 2001 and the US is flying it over Russia and 
China to send a message to them.

Mystery UFO Light over China July 2010

This appears to be an experimental hypersonic "wave rider" aircraft of some 
kind, similar to the Aurora. It is flying high enough to still be in sunlight 
making the exhaust seem to glow. Because the rate of expansion of the exhaust is 
seen to slow down, the vehicle is within the upper atmosphere. That it is flying 
in sunlight over a major city does suggest this is an intentional display of 
some kind as normally such experimental craft are flight tested away from prying 
eyes.
