archives. So far, the Center has received over 300 DVDs and several external

Barak: Iran wants to deceive world

Defense Minister Ehud Barak expressed little optimism on Saturday about a 
proposed round of talks between global powers and Iran, which is under pressure 
over its nuclear ambitions.
"Based on experience and looking at the example which they (the Iranians) are 
using, which is probably the North Korean example, you can easily see ... the 
objective is to defy, deceive and deter the whole world," he said.
"Iran is a major, major threat to any conceivable world order. It's clear to all 
of us that they're determined to reach military nuclear capability," Barak said 
during a panel discussion at the forum.
Memo to Israeli Defense Minister Barak: forgive me, sir, but isn't this 
precisely what Israel did with its own nuclear arms program?!?
Let's take a look at something to which you appear to be pathologically 
allergic: the facts of the matter here.
1. As a signatory to the NNPT, all of Iran's nuclear work is done under the 
watchful eye of the IAEA, through their inspection process.
2. To date, no nuclear material has been found to have gone missing, and the 
Iranians are enriching their uranium to the 20% necessary for the creating of 
medical isotopes. (Israel refuses to sign the NNPT, refuses to allow IAEA 
inspections, and has a large cache of nuclear weapons. Also, any financial or 
military aid given to Israel by the US since the passage of the Symington 
Amendment is illegal.)
3. Weapons degree enrichment takes over 95% enrichment.
4. To date, the most current IAEA reports do not indicate any work on a weapons 
program.
5. The Iranian leadership is many things, but it is not stupid: they have not 
begun a war in over 200 years.
6. They understand that any attack of any kind against Israel would result in 
Iran being turned into green glass by Israeli and US firepower.
7. You want these upcoming talks to either never happen, or to fail abysmally, 
with Iran rejecting any offer put on the table.
8. You are hoping that such a failure will result in a US-led attack against 
Iran. And yet again, it will be American kids who will die, bleed, and be maimed 
for life to "neutralize" another one of your "existential enemies) in the 
region (which includes pretty much all your neighbors). This will make every US 
military person in the region a sitting duck for a counter-attack.
9. Such an attack may well see China and Russia, both nuclear-armed countries, 
join the conflict on the side of Iran.
10. The only kind of attack the US could successfully mount would be a 
"blitzkrieg",because the US has offshored its manufacturing to the point where 
we could not sustain an extended, drawn-out conflict.

WA moves to tighten driver's license requirements

Beginning Monday, the state Department of Licensing will require proof of a 
valid Washington residence address if an applicant doesn't provide a verified 
Social Security number.
I'll not be giving out my Social Security number, that's for sure! I wonder if 
utility bills will be accepted.
Personally, I don't think there should be a government issued 'permission' 
(licence) to drive unless someone has shown a pattern of incompetence, then they 
need to be tested and licensed. If the pattern continues, then that licence can 
be revoked and they can be forbidden to drive. I think that's a much fairer 
system, but of course it's not about fairness... it's about collecting money for 
the bureaucracy!

In the UK the HPA collects lab data of positive flu test results. In 2009 there 
were approximately 3000 influenza A test results and approximately 300 influenza 
B tests. There were about 105,000 cases of influenza like illnesses. So in 
comparison flu only made up 3% of flu like illnesses in the UK.
To summarize you are far more likely to catch a flu like illness rather than the 
flu, 97% of all ILI are not flu! Out of those 3300 who caught flu last year how 
many died? We don’t know because those details weren’t published in the HPA 
report. But the mortality rate of seasonal flu is 1% so can we assume 33 people 
died? So are we getting vaccines to prevent ourselves being one of the 33? Wow 
that’s playing it safe!

Ship to Gaza-Sweden Files Police Report Against Israel in Tel Aviv

Army Reports Record Number of Suicides

The Army's suicide rate is now double the national average. There were 162 
suicides in Army ranks in 2009 - a record. Fort Hood has had a record 20 
confirmed or suspected suicides this year, four in just one week in September.
What these wars have been, essentially, are publicly funded wars for ultimate 
potential private profit: it is very possible these soldiers saw that, and felt 
very angry and betrayed that their lives had been put on the line not to defend 
America, or enhance its security, but for private profit.
In Iraq, it was supposed to be about the oil, and we can see how well that 
went: no American company won any development or exploration rights when these 
bids were tendered.
In Afghanistan, it was about installing the pipelines with which to control 
Eurasian oil, once the Afghanis were suitably "pacified" (read: blown to bloody 
bits).

years ago that tranquillisers that were later prescribed to millions of people

The Medical Research Council (MRC) agreed in 1982 that there should be 
large-scale studies to examine the long-term impact of benzodiazepines after 
research by a leading psychiatrist showed brain shrinkage in some patients 
similar to the effects of long-term alcohol abuse.
However, no such work was ever carried out into the effects of drugs such as 
Valium, Mogadon and Librium – and doctors went on prescribing them to patients

by Fed Chair Ben Bernanke would "create additional problems for the world." He 
promised to bring up the issue in talks with the US and said that, by following

This QE2 program is going to be great for the bankers, who - by the way - are 
already buying foreign assets with this money - but absolutely lousy for working 
people.
Many businesses have cut hours and benefits, and/or reduced pay for their 
employees just to stay afloat. People with jobs are desperately trying to hang 
on to what they have.
As Bernake is not an idiot, one has to imagine that this has been the design 
objective of these economic policies all along: to reduce American workers' 
wages to make American corporations more competitive globally.
The problem is, these employees have no way to make up the shortfall between the 
cut in pay and benefits, relative to what they have to spend to stay alive; 
consequently, more and more families will be driven to the edge of poverty and 
desperation.

intelligence personnel. In a statement published by The Washington Post,

report stating the drug trafficking from Costa Rica is controlled by an

WMR has also learned that the paramilitary operatives operating out of Costa

destabilization operations into El Salvador, now governed by the leftist

It was not very long until this information was brought to the Rothschilds'

The Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. took over K Bank, based in Randallstown, 
Maryland, with $538.3 million in assets, and Pierce Commercial Bank, based in 
Tacoma, Washington, with $221.1 million in assets. The FDIC also seized two 
California banks: Western Commercial Bank in Woodland Hills, with $98.6 million 
in assets, and First Vietnamese American Bank in Westminster, with assets of $48 
million.
Twenty-five banks failed in 2008, the year the financial crisis struck with 
force; only three succumbed in 2007.
The growing bank failures have sapped billions of dollars out of the FDIC's 
deposit insurance fund. It fell into the red last year, and its deficit stood at 
$15.2 billion as of June 30.
The FDIC expects the cost of resolving failed banks to total around $52 billion 
from 2010 through 2014.

period. If they refuse or fail to complete the programme their jobseeker's

Reporting from Sacramento — California's fund for paying unemployment insurance 
is broke.
With one in every eight workers out of a job, the state is borrowing billions of

Interest on that debt will soon start piling up, forcing the state to come up 
with a $362-million payment to Washington by the end of next September.
That's money that otherwise would go into the state's general fund, where it 
could be spent to hire new teachers, provide healthcare to children and beef up 
law enforcement.
California heads a list of 32 states that have been forced to borrow a total of 
$41 billion so far from the federal government to pay claims.

Dear Sir,
Andrew Gilligan's article of 24 October has as its headline "David Kelly 
inquest: Case closed" followed by "The details of Dr David Kelly’s death, made 
public last week, should provide a final answer to the conspiracy theorists, 
says Andrew Gilligan"
The truth is that the case is far from closed, not least perhaps because no 
inquest has taken place. The continued refusal or neglect to hold an inquest 
into this important death, which is required by the laws of this country and of 
Europe, constitutes a blatant subversion of due process of the law.

US senator sees 'confrontation' with China, war with Iran

The United States faces a possible war with Iran to curb its nuclear ambitions 
and a "period of confrontation" with China over its currency, a top US lawmaker 
warned Saturday.
If President Barack Obama "decides to be tough with Iran beyond sanctions, I 
think he is going to feel a lot of Republican support for the idea that we 
cannot let Iran develop a nuclear weapon," he told the Halifax International 
Security Forum.
This disgusts me: the elections are barely over, and Senator Graham cannot 
possibly wait to show his allegiance to the Israeli government and the 
geopolitical outcomes it wants to have happen over the very pressing needs and 
concerns of the American people he allegedly represents!
As an NNPT signatory, Iran does all of its nuclear work under the watchful eyes 
of the IAEA. To date, no nuclear material has gone missing, and the enrichment 
has only gone to 20%, enough to create medical isotopes. A weapon would take an 
enrichment of over 95%.
According to all the evidence published by the IAEA, Iran does not have a 
weapons program.
Israel, however, does have a nuclear weapons program, and refuses to sign the 
NNPT, meaning that there are no inspections of its weapons sites.
The undue influence of Israel over US foreign policy is a like a metastasizing 
cancer, which has almost killed its host. With two disastrous wars (for which 
Israel was cheerleading vociferously), the US cannot afford a third at this 
time, at any level.
If Obama "buys off" on the concept of going to war to look "butch" before the 
2010 election, it will be the worst decision of his presidency, and believe 
me, this man is the poster child for really bad decisions while occupying the 
Oval Office!

voting systems didn't work at all 110 polling locations across the county. A 
programming error was blamed.

attempted to rent a billboard in Indianapolis, they got the kibosh by every 
rental company in the city. The message was simple–the billboards simply read, 
“Eli Lilly is making us sick.Tell them to stop,” and referred to Lilly's 
manufacturing of recombinant Bovine Growth Hormone (rBGH), which has been linked 
to cancer. BCA followed the guidelines of all companies contacted, but 
Indianapolis is home to Eli Lilly's corporate headquarters, and it seems their 
ad dollars aren't good there. According to one local company, Lamar Advertising, 
the billboard was not accepted because BCA cannot prove its claims. According to 
Lamar Executive Chris Iverson, "We didn't feel [BCA] could stand behind their 
statement.”
