About the 2010 Tree
The 2010 Rockefeller Center Christmas tree hails from Mahopac, New York.

Acton, a 9/11 first responder at Ground Zero. The 12 ton tree was hoisted
into place on November 12, 2010.
The tree will be light on Tuesday, November 30, 2010 and will remain lit
from 5:30AM through 11:30PM daily, and, will be lit for 24 hours a day on
Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. The lights will be shut off on New Year's
Eve (December 31, 2010) at 9PM, but, the tree will remain up until January 2,
2010.
